Swami Ananda Nadayogi began his spiritual pursuit right from his young age. He hails from a religious family and was born in the year 1970 to his pious parents in a Brahmin Community of Kerala in India.
During his school days he had opportunities to attend many discourses by great Spiritual leaders. He also learnt and practiced Yoga and meditation since then. He was formally initiated into the spiritual path by Guru Nithya Chaithanya Yathi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nitya_Chaitanya_Yati of Narayana Gurukulam http://www.narayanagurukula.org/Pages/nitya.html in Ootty in the year 1993. Guru introduced him to Vedantha as well as Nadayoga and gave the name Swami Ananda Nadayogi, Ananda meaning absolute bliss and Nadayoga is the science of abstract sound or music.
He was formally given advanced training in South Indian Classical music by the living legendary Indian violin maestro Sri. Lalgudi G. Jayaraman and also his son Lalgudi G.J.R.Krishnan in Chennai.

Ananda continued his intense research and studies in Yoga and music traveling all over India and staying with many eminent Masters. He didn’t even spare the Himalayas during his Yogic pursuit. He stayed in Hardwar and Rishikesh and also journeyed to Badrinath, Kedarnath, Utharkasi, Gangothri, Gomukh, Tapovan, Yamunothri etc in the Himalayas. Ananda underwent an International Mastership residential teachers’ training program in Ashtanga Yoga at the Sivananda Yoga Vedantha Centre, Neyyardam in India and was awarded the title ‘Yoga Siromani’ in the year 2003. Since then he started to share his immense knowledge and experiences by teaching and propagating Ashtanga yoga traveling all over India and worldwide. He has been a trainer and instructor of Ashtanga Yoga in many schools of India, Middle-East, Singapore and the United States.
Ashtanga yoga literally means "eight-limbed yoga," as outlined by the sage Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras. It consists of a set series of poses sequentially designed to strengthen the muscles and bones, detoxify the body, and calm the nervous system. Ashtanga is a classical, traditional series based on yogic principles proven to promote clarity and open the body. One who regularly practices and adapts to the lifestyle of Yoga will develop a sound mind and a healthy body. He will be unruffled any critical life situation and can work without stress or strain.
